In 2019, a colleague herpetologist (Guillaume Enot) carried the first standardized surveys ever performed on the population of Siamese crocodiles (Crocodylus siamensis) of Bàu Sàu Lake, located in Cat Tien National Park, Vietnam. I analyzed the data to provide a first assessment of the population’s status. Results also gave us valuable insights on how to improve the survey design.
Status: Project completed. Results are published in a report (available here).
